While I was working for KPF, as a design architect, I worked on the lobby, amenities, and condo units' design of this 1,263 ft tall, 1,636,200 ft2 mixed-use skyscraper that would be the centerpiece of the Yongsan International Business District.
"Block H is an award-winning, luxury residential and hotel tower symbolizing the promise and innovation of Seoul’s new urban center in the 21st century". - KPF-
Inspired by crystalline growth patterns found in Heaundae seaside cliffs, the tower’s three-tiered wings radiate out from the building’s center. These crystalline patterns are also growing inward and creating natural forms in the lobby & amenity space.
Maximizing light, privacy, dramatic views, and commercial vitality, the building’s interior design is a thoughtful response to a diverse program in a bourgeoning urban environment.
