Cornicello is an Italian restaurant located in Astoria, Queens.
Many local customers think of this place as a hidden gem because of the food quality and atmosphere. Since the business started to blossom, the owner decided to expand this restaurant to the second level, which used to be an empty greenhouse.

Our design inspiration for this expansion was this restaurant's menu and dishes, which are modern, authentic Italian. They are also organic, natural, and fresh. 

We blended European farmhouse style with modern style to recreate their dishes as interior design.

We demolished existing walls and created a modern open floor layout. We finished the space with warm, organic, natural materials and decorated it with European farmhouse-style furniture and accessories. We also took advantage of the existing greenhouse ceiling and created small indoor gardens with plants of different colors and textures to make the space more delightful.
